Cultural and traditional art exchange festival of ethnic minorities in 2025

Thai Nguyen will organize the Traditional Cultural and Arts Exchange Festival of Ethnic Minorities in 2025 The festival is expected to take place on December 10, 2025 at the Cultural House of Tin Keo hamlet, Phu Dinh commune - a land rich in revolutionary tradition of Thai Nguyen. The event had the participation of artisans, actors, and ethnic minorities from many localities in the province such as Dinh Hoa, Phu Luong, Dong Hy, Nam Hoa, Van Han, Dai Tu, Vo Nhai... Within the framework of the Festival, many rich and unique activities will take place such as: Incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at ATK Dinh Hoa special national relic site; Opening ceremony of the Festival; Display and exhibition of ethnic cultural and culinary products; organize folk games (throwing shuttlecock, tug of war, spinning, stilt walking...); and exchanges between clubs on cultural and artistic forms registered by UNESCO; was included in the list of national intangible cultures by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism such as: Heritage of Then singing - dan ting, Luon loi, vi singing, bowl dancing, and adoration dancing of the Tay people; Tac Xing dance, Sang Co singing (singing vi Luu Tam) of the San Chay people; singing Soong Co of the San Diu people; Khen dance art of the Mong people; Pa Dung singing of the Dao people; Sli singing of the Nung people... The festival is an opportunity for artisans and ethnic communities to meet, exchange experiences, and work together to preserve and spread folk cultural values; At the same time, raise people's awareness of the Party and State's guidelines and policies in preserving national culture associated with tourism development. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the standing agency, presiding over and coordinating with relevant units to organize implementation. Departments, branches, localities, and functional units such as the Provincial Police, Department of Health, Thai Nguyen Electricity Company... coordinate to ensure security, safety, logistics and effective propaganda for the event. The festival promises to become a meaningful cultural highlight, contributing to honoring the rich and diverse identities of Thai Nguyen ethnic minorities, while creating new momentum for cultural development associated with community tourism.
